One of the originals, located in Oak Cliff, this vegan diner has been open since 2002. Chefs specialize in vegan comfort food have created a menu consisting of more than nine plant-based burger alternatives and other fun options such as Spicy Buffalo Chik’n Nachos. The diner hours are 11 a.m.-10 p.m., Tuesday-Friday, 9 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and are closed on Monday.  (1101 North Beckley Avenue)

Tribal All Day Café

Located in the Bishop Arts district, this mainly vegan and vegetarian café is a place vegan foodies should visit. The cafe serves breakfast all day with fun menu items including Macadamia Vanilla Ricotta and Sqirl Jam Toast and porridge bowls. This vegan spot is great for someone on the go. Their specialty is “plant-based meals to go” with meals changing each week. Some of their previous meal plan options have been Veggie Mac, Jambalaya and Buffalo Chickpea Salad on Romaine. Their Sunday meal plan pickups are from 3-7pm at their various locations. (10233 E. Kalachandji’s

For 35 years this temple-side vegetarian buffet has been an East Dallas staple. Organic, many vegan items, peaceful outdoor garden patio plus indoor dining or to-go, veg-heads cannot go wrong. Open for lunch and dinner, closed Monday. (5430 Gurley Avenue)
