IKEA at The Shops at Park Lane is expected to open March 11

The home furnishings store will be two stories and 63,000 square feet with food options and 3,200 items to buy and take home immediately, according to a press release.

“As one of the largest global retail brands, IKEA will be a gamechanger for our project, and we feel fortunate that IKEA chose The Shops at Park Lane to plant its flag in core Dallas,” Northwood Retail President Ward Kampf said in the press release. “This new location plays into the exponential growth story happening now in Dallas and fits perfectly with our proximity to SMU, The Village Dallas and Uptown. Ikea joins a strategically diverse mix of national and local concepts such as American Girl, ASI Gymnastics and ASI NINJA, Turbo Tax, Crème & Crepes and Connect Studio DFW.”

IKEA will be located across from Old Navy. As Kampf’s statement indicated, wellness and fitness studio Connect Studio across from Bowl and Barrel, Intuit Turbo Tax between Dyson and J. Crew, and sweets shop Crème & Crepes Cafe are also new and currently open.

Editor’s note: Ward Kampf’s quote has been changed slightly at the request of a representative of The Shops at Park Lane.
