North Haven Gardens 75th Anniversary Celebration
Saturday, March 28 and Sunday, March 29
North Haven Gardens

Two days of free family-friendly fun are planned to mark the diamond anniversary of our neighborhood nursery. Activities will include a petting zoo, a bird flight show, a Master Gardener help desk, and painting crafts. Online reservations are encouraged.

Spring Party in the Park
Sunday, March 29, 4 – 6 p.m.
Preston Hollow Park

The Preston Hollow Early Childhood Association (PHECA) encourages friendships and provides support to local families with children from birth to age five. This outdoor event will highlight bounce houses, train rides, burgers, and a photo booth. Tickets are available online for $30.

Walk & Eat With a Doc
Saturday, April 4, 8:30 – 10 a.m.
Semones Family YMCA

Neighbors of all ages are welcome to attend this free event, which starts with a wellness discussion and recipe tasting hosted by developmental pediatrician, Dr. Sangeeta Elhence. Afterward, attendees are invited to continue the conversation during a walk on the Northaven Trail.

Master Gardeners Presents: Growing Vegetables
Saturday, April 11, 1 – 2 p.m.

Learn to grow your own fresh produce from Master Gardener, Stephanie Smith. In addition to creating low-maintenance vegetable gardens in containers, this free class will cover the basics of native pollinators, integrated pest management, and composting.

The Boho Market will host booths from dozens of local artisans and makers at this family- and pet-friendly outdoor event. Offerings will include handmade jewelry, candles, baked goods, original art, and more. Admission and parking are free.
