The City of Dallas will host town hall meetings this week for council members to hear residents’ feedback for the Fiscal Year 2026-27 budget.

Each year, the city begins the budget process in the spring, gaining community feedback to help shape the next budget. The current fiscal year’s budget was approved for $5.2 billion in September. 

Here is the schedule for budget town halls across Dallas:

Monday, March 23 

  • District 1 Council member Chad West, 6 p.m. at Tyler Street Church (927 W. 10th St.), In-person with Spanish interpretation.
  • District 2 Council member Jesse Moreno, 6 p.m. at Samuell Grand Recreation Center (6200 E. Grand Ave.), In-person with Spanish interpretation.
