Already hearing a few “I’m bored” complaints from the kids? Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Lake Highlands’ Kids Camp returns June 5, offering families discounted screenings of kid-friendly favorites throughout the summer.
The camp’s lineup includes everything from Matilda to KPop Demon Hunters. Screenings are scheduled as follows:
- June 5 at noon: Matilda
• June 8-10 at 4:15 p.m.: Matilda
• June 15-18 at 4:15 p.m.: KPop Demon Hunters
• June 26 at 12:30 p.m.: Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio
• June 29-30 at 4 p.m.: Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio
In addition to the months-long movie lineup, every Kids Camp guest receives a Kids Passport, a collectible movie tracker. Kids can collect a sticker for every qualifying movie they watch, keep track of the films they’ve seen and share their own ratings. After collecting five stickers, they will earn a free cookie.
With each Kids Camp ticket purchase, guests can also donate to Shoes That Fit, Alamo Drafthouse Lake Highlands’ charitable partner. The theater will match donations up to $5,000.
Families interested in attending can view the full Kids Camp schedule and purchase tickets through Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Lake Highlands’ website.
