Ballet North Texas is hosting A Midsummer Night’s Dream beginning tomorrow, June 19-21.

Choreographed by artistic director Nicolina Lawson, the ballet is set to Felix Mendelssohn’s musical score and offers a whimsical reimagining of one of William Shakespeare’s most notable works.

“A Midsummer Night’s Dream has long been one of my favorite story ballets to create. Originally created in 2023, I am thrilled to revisit this ballet with a new cast of artists who have brought fresh energy, perspective and imagination to the production,” Lawson said.

The production will take place at Moody Performance Hall in downtown Dallas. Performances are scheduled for 8 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday.

The 2 p.m. performance Saturday will be sensory-friendly.

Tickets are available on Ballet North Texas’ website.
