The City of Dallas will conduct mosquito control spraying in District 10 to help reduce the risk of West Nile virus transmission.

Spraying is scheduled to take place overnight from Monday, June 22, through Tuesday, June 23, between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. each night.

The treatment area is generally bounded by Skyline Drive to the north, Boundbrook Avenue to the west, Echo Valley Drive to the east and Royal Lane to the south. The area includes the vicinity of 9000 Vista Creek Drive in Council District 10.

Residents are urged to take precautions during spraying, including staying indoors to avoid contact with the spray. Officials also recommend using insect repellent, wearing long sleeves and pants when outdoors, and eliminating standing water around homes where mosquitoes can breed.
