Families looking for free activities this summer will have several options at Galleria Dallas, including storytimes, live performances, crafts and other activities. 

Storytimes from Catch Up & Read will occur Wednesdays and Fridays at 10:30 a.m. through July. Wednesday storytimes will feature local authors including Jenn Hill, Kenna Sosa, Rosie J. Pova, Erica Asante and Ha Dinh, along with a pop-up activity relating to their books. The Friday storytimes will be led by literacy coaches. Storytimes can be found on level three near the play place. 

Craft opportunities will include Friday artmaking with the Dallas Museum of Art located on level three. On Friday, June 10, Paper for Water will host an origami workshop for all ages from 2-4 p.m. This event will be located in Party Room B on the rink level. 

Galleria Dallas’ kids club, Play Art Learn Seek (PALS), will host The Juicebox Jukebox for a showtime on Thursday, July 2 at 10:30 a.m. PALS also offers kids an interactive way to enjoy the shopping center with designated missions. The July through September mission, “Little Big Road Trip,”  is a soccer inspired journey through Galleria Dallas that allows participants to collect stamps and earn a prize. 

Showtime Saturdays will continue every Saturday at 10:30 a.m. July’s performances include Maricela and Friends, Dano Parr, David Chicken and Hula dancing with Moana.
