Go Easy’s Bishop Arts storefront will close at the end of the month.
The announcement, made via social media on Tuesday, July 14, stated that the brand will continue and instead focus on growth in New York.
“The truth is, the cannabis industry has changed a lot,” the post read. “Between changing Texas laws, an uncertain federal landscape, and a business that seems to reinvent itself every few months, we’ve had to make some tough decisions about where to focus our energy.”
The shop relocated from North Bishop Avenue to West Davis Street in the spring after the previous location’s lease was not renewed.
Go Easy is currently located at 332 W. Davis St.
