The Shops at Park Lane will celebrate Tax-Free Weekend with two back-to-back events on Saturday, Aug. 8, and Sunday, Aug. 9.
Guests can enjoy free family activities, entertainment and treats on the lawn near the new Tesla test drive stations and Starbucks from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Saturday’s event will feature a free kids craft station hosted by Crafty Party Dallas. Families can also cool off at misting stations, enjoy free Frios Gourmet Pops and dance to music from a live DJ.
On Sunday, kids can enjoy a free sensory play experience hosted by My Festi Goodies and a sensory-friendly acoustic music set. In addition to the misting stations, free shaved ice from Kona Ice will be available.
“Tax-Free Weekend is one of our favorite times of year because it brings families together as they prepare for a new school year,” Amanda Lopez, marketing director of The Shops at Park Lane, says. “We wanted to make the experience about more than just shopping…”
