The Exchange Club of Lake Highlands recently completed its annual Back-to-School Breakfasts, welcoming teachers and school staff back for another year of learning.
This year, Exchange Club members served breakfast at 14 area Lake Highlands schools, providing meals to approximately 1,135 faculty and staff members across the Richardson Independent School District’s Lake Highlands Learning Community feeder pattern.

“Our Back-to-School Breakfasts are a simple way for us to let teachers and school staff know that the Exchange Club of Lake Highlands appreciates what they do for our community,” Nathan Trifone, director of school & community relations for the Exchange Club of Lake Highlands, said in a recent press release.
Additionally, the club established a School Liaison Committee made up of 12 Exchange Club members. Each member will serve as a primary point of contact for an area school.
“Our school liaisons give us a dedicated presence at each school and help us find more ways to support the teachers, staff, students and families in our community,” Trifone said.
