Shady’s Burgers & Brewhaha is marking ten years in Lake Highlands with a weeklong anniversary celebration. Stop in anytime today through Sunday to enjoy delicious food and see friends from the neighborhood.
“Lake Highlands and East Dallas have truly embraced Shady’s over the past 10 years, and we’re incredibly grateful,” said Greg Cooney, managing partner of High Five Hospitality. “We’ve watched kids grow up, families come back year after year and friendships form around our tables. Being able to support the schools and organizations that make this community so special has always been important to us. This anniversary is really a celebration of everyone who has supported us along the way.”
High Five Hospitality is the locally owned restaurant group which includes Shady’s Lake Highlands, Shady’s Richardson, Shady’s on Lake Lewisville and Shady’s Backyard North Dallas, set to open later this year with more than 6,000 square feet of patio space at Hillcrest and Campbell. They also own The Fifth: Fireside Patio and Bar in Canyon Creek and La Sombra in Richardson.
Special events this week at Shady’s Lake Highlands include Throwback Monday, with $6 original burgers, Ten Wing Tuesday, featuring $10 wings all day, and Wildcat Give Back Wednesday, with kickbacks to the Lake Highlands Wildcat Club. Thursday is Cheers to 10 Years, with $5 margaritas, and Fry-Yay Friday featuring free fries when customers declare “Fry Yay.” Saturday Big 10 includes live music by Vic Duncan from 6:30 to 9:30, and Sunday Fan-Day rewards guests wearing Shady’s merch with a free order of fried pickles with purchase.
