Dallas police officer turns himself in on official oppression warrant

Dallas Police Officer Troy Allison, #9442, turned himself in at the Dallas County Jail on Oct. 6 on a warrant for official oppression, a Class A misdemeanor, according to the Dallas Police Department Beat website.

Allison is assigned to the North Central Patrol Division and has been a member of the Dallas Police Department since April 2008.

According to the department’s website, Allison is on administrative leave pending the outcome of an internal investigation.
