There’s a new Michelin-recognized taqueria in the neighborhood. Resident Taqueria received a Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand award Thursday, Oct. 8.
After 11 years of serving tacos in Lake Highlands, the restaurant has earned its first Bib Gourmand distinction. The award recognizes restaurants that offer high-quality food at moderate prices, according to the Michelin Guide.
“Recognition has never been the reason we opened Resident,” the restaurant said in an Instagram post. “We wanted to create something special in Lake Highlands: a neighborhood restaurant where creativity meets familiarity … Thank you, Lake Highlands. This will always be your taqueria.”
The Bib Gourmand recognition highlights Resident Taqueria’s continued presence in the Lake Highlands community and its approach to serving creative tacos at accessible prices.
