At approximately 2:20 p.m. Oct. 12, Dallas police responded to a shooting call in the 9700 block of Whitehurst Drive.
The preliminary investigation determined that the victim was shot by a known individual at the location. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported the victim to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The case will be classified as a justifiable homicide and referred to a Dallas County grand jury.
The investigation is ongoing. The case is documented under case No. 150588-2026.
