Casa de Ondas, one of Dallas’s most expensive homes on the market, received a $7.5 million price cut Monday, Nov. 2.

Located at 5547 Walnut Hill Lane, the property was originally listed for $45 million. Its asking price has since dropped to $37.5 million, a 17% decrease, according to Zillow.

The mansion is now among the most expensive homes on the Dallas market, behind the Crespi Estate, which is listed for $64 million.

Spanning nearly 14,000 square feet on more than two acres in the Crespi Estates, Casa de Ondas translates to “house of waves.” Its design takes inspiration from its limestone roofline, which was modeled after the surrounding tree canopy.

The home was custom-designed over four years by SAOTA in collaboration with Ghost Architects.

Among the property’s standout features are a double-sided fireplace, an 8,000-pound marble island, an underground speakeasy, a golf simulator and an indoor-outdoor shower in the primary suite. The home also features an expansive gym with a steam room, sauna and massage room.
