This year’s Bishop Arts Bastille Day celebrations will not include the annual Bastille on Bishop block party.

Due to FIFA-related city restrictions, the annual celebration will instead take the form of the Bishop Bastille Walk on Tuesday, July 14 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The passport-style evening will be filled with roaming Bastille-inspired characters, photo spots and small activations, according to the event website. Advanced tickets for the walk start at $30, with tickets available for $40 on Tuesday.

Check-in will be at Simply Bella to receive a passport, map and wine glass for the event.

Each participating stop along the stroll will stamp the passport, with completed passports receiving an extra entry into a drawing for the Grand Bishop Bastille Prize that features gift cards and prizes from local businesses. Offerings at each spot vary from including discounts, raffles, wine and French-inspired drinks or snacks.

Additionally, attendees are encouraged to come dressed for the occasion for the costume contest to show off their best French, revolutionary, romantic, artistic or Bastille-inspired look. The winner will receive a Bishop Bastille Basket with items from local shops.
