The State Fair of Texas offers more flexibility than ever, making it easier for families to enjoy the Fair in ways that fit their budget. Accessible admission options, daily savings, and more than 100 attractions included with admission make it easier for families to plan a full day of fun.
“Every year, we look for new ways to give families even more flexibility when planning their visit. Whether guests come for the food, the Midway, live entertainment, or Texas traditions, we want everyone to find an option that fits their family,” said Karissa Condoianis, SVP of Public Relations.
New for 2026, children ages 3 to 12 can visit for just $10 every day of the Fair, giving parents more flexibility when planning their trip. Children 2 and under are admitted free of charge.
Families can save even more with daily promotions throughout the Fair, including:
- Opening Day’s peanut butter drive, where guests who donate two jars of peanut butter receive $10 admission while supporting the North Texas Food Bank.
- Feed the Need Wednesdays: $7 admission with a donation of 5 canned food items to the North Texas Food Bank.
- Thrilling Tuesdays with discounted Midway rides.
- Thrifty Thursdays, featuring discounted menu items and smaller portions from participating vendors.
Many North Texas students also receive complimentary admission through participating school districts, introducing millions of children to one of Texas’s most iconic traditions.
Admission includes far more than rides, games, and Fair food. Guests can enjoy more than 100 free attractions, including live music, museums, interactive exhibits, livestock events, educational displays, fan favorites like the pig races and Mighty Mike, and the GO TEXAN Pavilion, where visitors can explore Texas-made products and enjoy complimentary chocolate milk samples during the 2026 Fair.
“Admission to the 2026 State Fair of Texas gives families more flexibility while continuing to deliver the incredible value, traditions, and nonprofit impact Texans have come to expect from the State Fair of Texas,” said Condoianis. “While Fair food is one of our most beloved traditions, admission opens the door to a full day of entertainment, exhibits, education, agriculture, and family traditions.”
Families can also make the most of their visit with a little planning. Weekday mornings often mean lighter crowds, and bringing refillable water bottles and snacks allows visitors to save room in the budget for favorite Fair foods. Sensory-Friendly Mornings on Wednesdays also provide a more comfortable experience for guests who benefit from a quieter environment.
Every ticket purchased also supports the Fair’s nonprofit mission. A portion of proceeds helps fund scholarships, community initiatives, and the preservation of Fair Park, creating an impact that extends well beyond the Fair’s 24-day run.
