THAT’S SO DALLAS

Slow clap time: When The Pan African Connection owner entered her store, it felt hot as the Sahara. Actually, more like Dallas in summer in an unventilated space. (Dallol, Ethiopia, technically is the hottest area on earth, but Dallas, Texas, has to be up there, no? We digress…) Crooks took the shop’s extremely essential air conditioners. Hours after hearing the woeful tale, operators of a nearby air-cooling company offered to contribute replacement units, which would have cost the small business $20,000, an amount the owner says she could not afford.
