Cheap. Healthy. Legendary. These are just a few of the adjectives to describe Mamoun’s Falafel. Lucky for us, Mamoun’s is venturing outside of the tri-state area and setting its roots in West Village by the end of 2017.

According to its website, “Mamoun’s is the oldest falafel restaurant in New York, and one of the first Middle Eastern restaurants in the United States.” It opened its first shop in 1971 in Greenwich Village.

The restaurant has taken over the old PD Johnson at 3839 McKinney Ave.

To get an idea of what to expect from their menu, head on over to their website.

Until then – and we know you’re probably craving falafel now – check out Verts, Fadi’s, Baboush or The Halal Guys.
