A DART train collided with a pickup truck at the Audelia Road crossing near Royal Lane Sunday afternoon. The driver of the truck was killed and two riders on the train were injured.
Dallas Fire-Rescue crews arrived on the scene about 4:50 p.m. and found the truck, which had been pushed several yards down the track. The driver has not been publicly identified.
Train service was suspended on the Blue Line between the LBJ/Skillman and White Rock stations after the crash, but service has now been restored and trains are back on schedule.
