Echo Theatre presents the regional premiere of The Roommate at the Bath House Cultural Center from June 18 through July 4.
Directed by Caroline Hamilton and written by Jen Silverman, The Roommate is a dark comedy that explores themes of identity, loneliness and moral ambiguity. The play follows Sharon, a divorced housewife, who takes in Robyn, a roommate from the Bronx. Written for two women in the “third act” of their lives, the production follows the recent Broadway run starring Mia Farrow and Patti LuPone.
Guests are invited to attend a preview performance on June 18 at 7:30 p.m. Opening night is June 19 at 7:30 p.m. Performances run Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m., with Saturday matinees at 3 p.m.
The final performance is scheduled for July 4 at 7:30 p.m.
