What started as an ordinary game-day atmosphere has now turned into a steady stream of soccer fans, especially supporters of the Mexican national team — and Vector Brewing is leaning into it.
For Tuesday’s Mexico vs. Ecuador match, the Lake Highlands spot will offer $3 pours of its El Tri Mexican lager, brewed specifically for match days.
“We didn’t think we’d be a destination, since we aren’t a sports bar. But the swell of people during the U.S. and Mexico games has been really great,” Veronica Bradley, co-owner of Vector Brewing, said.
The decision to introduce the $3 pours is less about promotion and more about responding to demand, while also encouraging more fans to come out and experience the match at Vector Brewing.
