The Dallas City Council recess is coming to a close, and the council is heading into a budget workshop in the first half of August. To gather resident input for the Fiscal Year 2026-27, each district will have at least one opportunity to connect with their representatives.
Dallas Budget Town Hall meetings will take place throughout the next month both in person and online, hosted by members of the Dallas City Council.
District 1 will kick off the meetings with the first in-person town hall at Tyler Street Church on Tuesday, Aug. 11 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. For those who wish to strictly attend virtually for District 1, a town hall meeting via Webex will take place on Thursday, Aug. 13 from noon to 1 p.m.
The District 3 town hall meeting will take place Thursday, Aug. 13 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Thurgood Marshall Recreation Center. Another District 3 town hall will also take place virtually via Webex on Thursday, Aug. 20 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The District 4 Community Office will host a hybrid town hall meeting for the district Thursday, Aug. 13 from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The meeting will also be available virtually via Webex at the same time.
District 8 will have two town halls, one scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 18 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. via Webex and one held at the Singing Hills Recreation Center on Thursday, Aug. 20 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
