SusieCakes is celebrating National Dog Day on August 26 all month long through their “Dog Days of Summer” collection that benefits dogs across Dallas.
“Available August 1-31, the limited-time collection will donate $1 from every Frosted Sugar Cookie and PupCake sold to local shelters and rescue groups including Saving Hope Animal Rescue, Dogslife, Dallas Pets Alive! and Chew Animal Clinic,” a representative from SusieCakes said.
Treats like their dog-shaped Frosted Sugar Cookies are colored with various shades of sanding sugar, priced at $23.80 for 4 and $107.10 for 18. Other than their banana peanut butter PupCakes, they also sell large cakes and dog treats, which both warrant a 24-hour preparation notice.
“The Dog Decorated Cake is a festive dog-themed cake perfect for celebrating furry family members,” the representative said. “Susie’s Famous Dog Treats include two dozen homemade dog treats made with a special recipe of peanut butter, flour, eggs and molasses. Each bag is priced at $12.95.”
Overall, the collection promotes joy and animal welfare awareness, potentially encouraging customers to invest in shelter dogs in their communities.
