Shoyo is staying in Lower Greenville.
The sushi omakase (Japanese tasting) restaurant closed last week at 1916 Greenville Ave., next to Leela’s Wine Bar, at the end of its five-year lease but will reopen a few blocks north at 2114 Greenville Ave., where Ocean Ranch most recently was and Carte Blanche before that, according to The Dallas Morning News. The new space will allow for expansion, but Shoyo is expected to stay intimate with about 12-14 seats. The menu and pricing is expected to stay the same, or at least similar.
The new Shoyo is expected to open within a month in the fall.
“We are excited to begin the next chapter in our new space and are working hard to prepare for the move,” reads Shoyo’s website. “We will announce our reopening date as soon as it is confirmed.”
