You want to get lunch at Sweetgreen in Lakewood Shopping Center? Tomorrow is your last day.
Sweetgreen’s staff confirmed to the Lakewood/East Dallas Advocate that our neighborhood location will close for good on Nov. 5. The store will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Employees will be transferred to the Snider Plaza (near SMU) and West Village (Uptown) locations.
Lakewood’s Sweetgreen has been open since 2022 in the former Dixie House/Sugarbacon Proper Kitchen/Kozy Kitchen space.
The closure is happening for business reasons, the staff said. One employee lamented not being able to walk to work anymore. In closing, they thanked the Lakewood community.
