The South Oak Cliff High School Golden Bears will play in the inaugural Roland Parrish Classic Saturday, Sept. 12 in the Cotton Bowl.
The Roland Parrish Classic will be a doubleheader featuring four of Texas’ top football programs. The Golden Bears will face the North Shore Senior High School Mustangs.
Additionally, the day will feature a college, career, health and STEM expo along with live entertainment before kick off, according to a press release from Dallas ISD. The expo will begin at 10 a.m. with proceeds benefiting the Roland Parrish Foundation’s scholarship fund for high school students.
Kickoff for the SOC game is at 4 p.m., following a performance by the Texas Southern University Ocean of Soul Marching Band and live trivia with The Urban Trivia Game.
