A new cookie dough brand is hitting Central Market locations across Dallas, including the Central Market on Midway Road.
Made by Marge, a Dallas-based maker of from-scratch, ready-to-bake cookie dough, has announced its retail launch at Central Market. Two flavors, Original Chocolate Chip and S’mores, will make their debut at eight Central Market stores across Texas, with products set to launch within the next two weeks, according to a press release.
Founded by 28-year-old Margaret “Marge” Peus, the brand began in 2023 as a side business while Peus worked as a consultant from her home, where she would bake batches of cookies between client calls.
The cookie enthusiast initially sold her treats at the St. Michael’s Farmers Market in Preston Hollow. In January 2026, she left her full-time corporate job to grow the business.
“Three years ago, my grandmother told me, ‘You should be in Central Market,’ I laughed, because landing on the shelves of such a beloved Texas grocer felt completely out of reach,” Peus said in a recent press release.
Made by Marge cookie dough is made by hand in Dallas using butter, sugar and simple ingredients and contains no artificial dyes. According to the press release, Made by Marge will primarily remain a direct-to-consumer brand.
Shoppers can find the cookie dough in the frozen section at the Central Market at 4349 W. Northwest Hwy., with each package retailing for $25.99.
Made by Marge cookie dough will also be available at Central Market locations in Austin North Lamar, Austin Westgate, Dallas Lovers Lane, Fort Worth, Houston, Plano, San Antonio and Southlake.
“It is surreal that my cookie dough will now be sold at the same Central Market my family has shopped at for years,” Peus said in a press release.
