The second stop of the Fair Housing Community Connect Tour will take place Monday, Oct. 26, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Walnut Hill Recreation Center.
Organized by the City of Dallas Office of Housing and Community Empowerment, the initiative aims to expand access to fair housing services throughout Dallas. Staff will be onsite to answer residents’ questions and help them understand their protections under fair housing laws.
At each stop, residents can access the following services and resources:
- Assistance with filing housing discrimination complaints
- Onsite intake interviews
- Information about reasonable accommodations and modifications
- Guidance on identifying potential discriminatory practices
- Referrals to appropriate resources
- Multilingual educational materials
The tour’s first stop will be at Lochwood Branch Library on Oct. 22.
