Discover Dallas ISD on Nov. 7 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m

A historic investment in our schools deserves a clear view of the progress it makes possible. In May, voters approved a $6.2 billion bond package, the largest school bond in Texas history. It includes upgrades to every campus – including a NEW Stevens Park Elementary School! We want families and neighbors to be able to follow how that investment takes shape at the schools they care about. The new Bond 2026 Dashboard brings project information together in one place, allowing you to explore individual campuses, check project status, and see where each project stands in the bond process. As work moves forward, the dashboard will be updated to keep our community informed. I encourage all to visit bonddashboard.dallasisd.org to follow the progress.

A hidden gem at Arcadia Park
Arcadia Park Elementary School is a hidden gem with a legacy spanning more than 100 years. The campus improved its academic rating score by seven points last year and is aiming for another seven-point gain to earn an A rating. With programs beginning at prekindergarten and distinguished teachers on its team, Arcadia Park helps students build a strong foundation for learning. Its fifth- and sixth-grade drumline showcases student talent and recently performed at an African American Museum event. A partnership with the Dallas Public Library allows the school and community to share a library, strengthening the connection between campus and neighborhood. I am proud of the students, educators, and families building on this legacy. Arcadia Park is one example of the opportunities available in our schools, and I encourage families to discover what Dallas ISD has to offer at our upcoming school fair.
