An unknown suspect attempted to break into multiple Lake Highlands homes overnight Friday, Oct. 30, according to police.
Multiple homes were targeted, and the suspect broke the glass on one home’s front door, Fox 4 reported.
Lake Highlands resident Jeff Jones spoke with Fox 4 about the attempted break-in at his home.
According to Jones, the incident occurred around 1:20 a.m. and was captured on his doorbell camera. The footage shows the suspect ringing his doorbell multiple times and walking around his front porch.
After leaving and returning to the door, the suspect punched the glass window, breaking it, Jones told Fox 4. The man then kicked the door multiple times.
Fox 4 reported that several neighbors contacted Jones about the same suspect after he posted the footage online.
Dallas police continue to investigate the incident. Officers identified a potential suspect Friday but later determined he was not responsible for the attempted break-ins.
