The Communities Foundation of Texas’ annual North Texas Giving Day is coming up on Thursday, Sept. 17.
The community-wide initiative aims to raise funds to help support and bring awareness to local nonprofits. Created in 2009, this year’s 18th annual event includes more than 3,000 nonprofits across 20 counties in North Texas.
Last North Texas Giving Day, over 100,000 North Texans gave $78 million to local nonprofits that represent causes such as education, health, social services, arts, the environment and animal welfare, according to a press release.
