March is Women’s History Month, a time to celebrate and recognize the achievements and challenges of women throughout history. The Texas Women’s Foundation will mark the occasion with a special screening event taking place on Wednesday, March 4, at the Dallas Museum of Art. The event will include a presentation of the film “Lilly,” as well as a panel discussion and networking opportunities.

Starring Patricia Clarkson as equal pay advocate Lilly Ledbetter, “Lilly” debuted last year and was subsequently named Best of the Fest at the 2025 Palm Springs International Film Festival. The film has been selected for a special local screening by the Texas Women’s Foundation (TXWF), an organization dedicated to driving meaningful change for women, girls, and families in Texas. “Lilly” reflects a real-life representation of the TXWF’s research on women and the wage gap

Beginning at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, the screening will be hosted at the Dallas Museum of Art. Thereafter, a panel discussion moderated by Renda Mathew, Dallas Market President at Truist, will feature Michelle Burgess, Director of HR Innovation at Arca Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages; Marsha Clark of Marsha Clark & Associates; and Dr. Robin L. Pinkley, Professor of Management and Organizations at the SMU Cox School of Business. Networking with TXWF partners, and corporate, community, and civic leaders will conclude the event. Sponsors include BlueCross BlueShield of Texas, Fisher Phillips, and Gowri Sharma.
