Vote today in the March 3, 2026 Primary Election.
Tuesday, March 3, is Election Day in the 2026 March Primary Election. Today’s primary will decide candidates in the upcoming General Election for seats in the U.S. Senate, U.S. House, Texas Senate, and Texas House, as well as Texas races for offices including Governor, Lt. Governor, and Attorney General. The November 2026 General Election will take place on Tuesday, November 3.
Where to Vote: During last month’s Early Voting period, voters were able vote at any countywide Voting Center. On Election Day, voting is precinct-based, requiring voting to take place at an assigned party polling place. Visit the Dallas County Elections website to search a database of polling places by voter address or precinct number. Election Day polling places are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
ID Requirements: All voters are reminded that under Texas law they must have one of the seven acceptable forms of photo identification ready to present at the polls. Click here for a full list of accepted forms of identification.

Election Results: Early voting cumulative totals will be published today at 7 p.m. Election Day results will be reported starting at 9 p.m., and will be updated each hour until all votes have been counted. Visit the Dallas County Election Results page for more information.
