Talkin’ Tacos is reportedly going to open a new location in Deep Ellum between the end of this year and early 2027.
The Mexican restaurant chain has stores across the East Coast, with plenty in its home state of Florida, and one in Texas, in Plano. The Deep Ellum location is expected to open at 2805 Main St., where Beauty Bar and Neon Kitten used to be.
“Dallas gives us the opportunity to test our concept in a different type of community and better understand how our brand can grow across the region,” Daryl E. Perez, Talkin’ Tacos vice president of operations, said to What Now Dallas, which first reported this news. “We’re not just looking to open another location; we want to bring the Talkin’ Tacos experience to local residents and build real relationships in the community.”
Talkin’ Tacos has a menu that includes burritos, quesadillas, bowls, ramen, street corn, churros and, of course, tacos. The most frequently ordered items, according to its website, are birria tacos, steak burritos, carne asada tacos, Caribbean carne tacos and Bang Bang shrimp tacos, all $15.99.
