Dallas police recently arrested 62-year-old David Klepak, who reportedly lives on Winton Street, in connection with sexual assault of a child.
Klepak is accused of drugging and sexually assaulting a 14-year-old runaway, who he offered a ride home to as she was walking down the street last week. Multiple news outlets reported that instead of driving her home, he gave her methamphetamine and assaulted her at his duplex over the course of three days at the end of July. She was able to escape after she contacted a friend.
Details the teen gave to the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center helped police locate Klepak. He was arrested during a traffic stop and multiple glass pipes were found in his vehicle. Klepak allegedly admitted to committing the assault during a police interview, according to the arrest affidavit.
At the time of writing this, Klepak is currently in jail with a $300,000 bond, according to Dallas County jail records online.
