She received the Kim and Kasey Floyd Social Justice Award from the American Council on Rural Special Education in 2024.
Dada-Olley lives in North Texas with her husband and their two autistic children. Their family was featured in Sensory Overload, Vox Media’s documentary on Hulu. The film shares the stories of individuals who are redefining what it means to live with neurodivergence.
Oak Hill Academy’s speaker series is free and open to all parents of neurodiverse children in the community. Drinks and light bites will be served, and attendees are asked to register by emailing info@oakhillacademy.org. The high school campus is at 9027 Midway Road, and the program begins at 7 p.m.
