Growth is constant in our neighborhood. Here are some of the restaurants and cafes coming soon, including spots on Fort Worth Avenue, in Bishop Arts, and in Wynnewood Village.
A couple of chains
Both Chipotle and Dutch Bros. are coming soon to our area. The California-based burrito place will be part of Wynnewood Village, located at 671 W. Illinois Ave.
As for the Dutch Bros., the drive-thru coffee business originating from Oregon will be located at 2111 Singleton Blvd.
El Jardín Café
Since mid-August, the cafe “inspired by our roots” has been teasing a coming soon via Instagram. Posts have featured cups of coffee, concha and a matcha latte with horchata and banana. El Jardín Café will be located at 714 W. Davis St. next door to The Spelled Milk.
Min’s Prime Cut Korean Steakhouse
Formerly Berkley’s Market, 634 W. Davis St. will soon house Korean barbecue. Min’s Prime Cut Korean Steakhouse is expected to open in November, according to Culture Map Dallas.
Snarf’s Sandwiches
The upcoming Snarf’s is located at 2005 Fort Worth Ave. The sandwich shop originates from Boulder and includes sandwiches, salads, soups, desserts and more.
Trapèze
Originally expected to open in the spring, the French restaurant Trapèze, located at 240 W. Eighth St., is now expected to open in October. The circus-themed establishment will include cocktails, food, wine and music.
Ulloa’s Kitchen and Bar
Opening at 727 Fort Worth Ave. in 2027, Ulloa’s Kitchen and Bar takes inspiration from the flavors of Spain and Peru. Named after Antonio de Ulloa, an 18th-century Spanish navigator and scientist, the restaurant will include balcony views of Downtown and aims to create “an intimate yet lively gathering place.”
Wonder
Wonder, the hybrid food hall and ghost kitchen, is expected to open around 120 Texas locations in 2027, according to an article from the Dallas Business Journal. One of those locations is coming to 2525 Fort Worth Ave.
