This weekend marks the last chance to see La Guitarrizma! at the Bath House Cultural Center.
Oak Cliff-based Jose Vargas is the exhibition’s lead artist. The display includes paintings, sculptures and mixed-media pieces inspired by the guitar.
Featured guitarists of the exhibit include Chris Castañeda, Long Black Car and Stephen Hout, as well as internationally celebrated artists like Jimi Hendrix, Lita Ford, Prince and Lead Belly. Oak Cliff’s Stevie Ray Vaughan has a feature as well, with an altar created by Vargas.
The art exhibition runs until Saturday, Sept. 26.
