Dallas Police Department is looking for a young man who is accused of killing a teenager in Old East Dallas last fall

The DPD Beat reported that police responded to a shooting call at about 4:50 p.m. Nov. 2 in the 5000 block of Ross Avenue in a parking lot and discovered that 18-year-old Jayden Williamson was shot. Williamson was taken to a hospital and died there.

A suspect wasn’t publicly identified at the time. Now, in a Feb. 12 Facebook post, DPD indicated that 21-year-old Antonio Alexander is wanted in connection with the murder and asked for the public’s help in finding him. Alexander is described as a 6-foot-tall, 140-pound Black man with brown eyes and black hair. You can see a picture of him here.

The DPD post encouraged people to contact Crime Stoppers to report tips about this case (No. 157805-2025) by calling 214-373-TIPS (8477). Tipsters who give information that leads to an arrest and indictment are entitled to a paid reward from Crime Stoppers.
