The 2000 Roses Foundation will host a community event to fundraise for the nonprofit’s mission on Friday, Sept. 25.
Founded in 1999, 2000 Roses Foundation aims to assist women reentering society after incarceration, addiction, domestic abuse and other life-altering challenges by providing a safe space, essential resources and opportunities for personal growth. The foundation includes opportunities for housing assistance, substance abuse recovery programs, life-skills training, workforce development, hygiene support, mentorship and community connection.
The September event, “Invest in Her,” brings neighbors together for shopping, mocktails and a hygiene donation drive to help support local women rebuilding their lives after significant hardships.
Attendees will receive a branded tote bag to fill with items from the foundation’s thrift store, Rose Garden Remake, a drink ticket and the opportunity to participate in an on-site raffle that includes desserts, jewelry, museum and sports tickets, event passes and more.
Tickets are available for $200 with 100% of all proceeds from the event going toward the foundation.
The Rose Garden Remake Boutique is located at 1300 S. Polk St., Ste. 183.
