After a temporary closure, Lake Highlands’ White Rock Soap Gallery will reopen later today.
According to White Rock Soap Gallery owner Keith Bailey, at approximately 2:16 p.m. Wednesday, a woman backed her vehicle into the entrance of the business, damaging the door and surrounding window.
“We’ve been up all night cleaning up all the glass and getting everything picked up and getting the building boarded back up,” Bailey said.
After hours of cleanup, Bailey said his major concern is having to close again for future reconstruction of the building’s entrance.
“With the way the economy is, and things being slow as it is, we’re going to try and open for as long as we can,” Bailey said.
There is currently no timeline for when reconstruction will begin.
